1. Get Enough Rest and Sleep

Getting enough sleep not only provides sufficient nutrition and oxygen to our skin but it's definitely necessary for both of the recovery of our skin tissue and recovery from fatigue. In order to maintain a healthy and beautiful skin to look younger, it is important to get enough sleep. The best time to sleep and for our body and skin to recover is between 10pm and 2am since the production of blood to our skin is very active during this time.

2. Balanced Nutritional Diet

It's impossible to have beautiful skin without being healthy. Meals should have plenty of nutrition to improve and maintain health and beauty of skin. Carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals and vitamins etc should all be taken. Vitamins especially is a vital nutrition for maintaining active skin function, so make sure that you are getting enough vitamins from your dietary food. Blood also contains alkali so it's important that a proper level of alkali is maintained. If the acid to alkali ratio in our blood increases above the normal ratio of 20:80, our skin will lose its vitality due to the accumulation of toxic substances. It is very important to keep the ratio of acids to alkali maintained and we can do this by consuming fruits and vegetables which provide plenty of alkali.

3. Pay Attention to Your Body Daily

Our skin is actually a great tool or measure of our overall health because it promptly responds to our body condition. The color of our facial skin may change and our overall skin complexion will lose its lustre from things such as overworking, insomnia, bad diets, constipation, and anemia. Intestinal problems may also cause several skin problems. Our skin will also immediately respond to issues in the sex hormone secretion.

4. Regular Exercise

This is a no-brainer. If we don't move we end up like rusty old cars left on the lot i.e. our body will not function properly or it may be hard to even move around. The important thing is to exercise based on each individual’s body condition regardless of age. It doesn't have to be extreme cardio activities. Walking, bending, stretching and other movement activities all do wonders.

5. Skin Care

We should invest our time to care for our skin in order to refresh from the damage caused by environment factors. It's also important to keep our skin clear of secretion, prolonged use of makeup, dirt etc. Applying base makeup will also protect your skin from the increasing risks of UV rays and dryness due to air conditioning and heaters.
